Stella Guerra, Esq.

Stella uses her positive approach and knowledge as a real estate attorney to assist clients during real estate transactions and closing proceedings to take care of any issues that may arise. She has 18 years of experience in diverse areas of law, including residential and commercial transactions, lending and finance, corporate transactions, foreclosures, business law and probate matters. Stella presently concentrates her practice in residential and commercial real estate, overseeing the transaction from intake to closing. Stella is fluent in Spanish and conducts closings in Spanish when necessary.

Stella earned her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 1998 and received her B.A. from Oswego State University in 1994. Stella is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York. She is a member of the Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York Bar Associations and has taught numerous seminars throughout Rhode Island in such areas as corporate law, contracts and residential and commercial real estate matters. Stella is a former elected official serving as one of the first Hispanic Rhode Island State Representatives and City Councilwoman for the City of Woonsocket. She is married and is the proud mother of three well rounded children who are all being raised to proudly embrace the Latin traditions, culture and Spanish language spoken at home.
